The cementing packer is a tool used for pressure cementing and repair/insulation operations.
The spool valve is controlled from the surface by moving the sealing assembly along the tubing string—simply lifting it (valve closes) or lowering it (valve opens).
The cementing packer is designed for quick and easy drilling-out and is ideally suited for long-term repair and isolation operations carried out at great depths, under high temperatures, or in high-risk conditions.
It can be set using a mechanical setting tool.
The components are locked against rotation to facilitate drilling-out.
Lock rings help prevent the sealing element from being pushed out.
