1. Introduction
Passivated magnesium powder is a product made from magnesium ingot through the process of chip making, chip breaking, granulation, screening, passivating and packaging. At present, passivated magnesium powder is mainly used for desulfurization in steelmaking process. Because of its excellent desulfurization performance, it has become an indispensable desulfurizer in steelmaking, and has been widely used in iron and steel smelting in the past two years.
The process is divided into chip making, chip breaking, granulation, screening, passivation and packaging.
Chip making is to use a chip milling machine to cut magnesium ingot into magnesium chips.
Chip breaking is the coarse crushing of magnesium chips, processed into a certain shape of large particles, is a preparation process for powder production.
Granulation is to further crush the broken magnesium particles and granulate them.
The quality indexes such as particle size, circularity and loose packing density meet the requirements of GB5149.1-2004.
Screening is the use of vibrating screen to make the pelletizing process of magnesium powder according to a certain number of mesh classification.
Passivation is according to a certain formula, the various components of the substance mixed, heated, so that it reacts under a certain temperature and humidity conditions, the formation of a heat insulation, flame retardant coating on the surface of magnesium powder.
Packaging is to passivate the magnesium powder in accordance with the requirements of anti-humidity and anti-static, then Drum according to uniform weight for easy storage and transportation.

4) Magnesium powder granulator: it is an important equipment for the production of magnesium powder, which will crush and granulate the magnesium chips after breaking, and make spheroidal particles with particle size that meet the requirements.
5) Vibrating screen: It is a device that classifies the magnesium powder after granulation by mesh number.
6) Passivation machine: It is a special equipment for mixing, heating and drying materials including magnesium powder according to a certain formula to make it react quickly.

3) Granulator: Our factory produces M40-6 type magnesium powder granulator
M40 magnesium powder granulator is a horizontal 6 blade structure. Its characteristics are: the position of the blade can be adjusted to produce magnesium powder of different particle sizes. Because the blade can be turned over and indexable, the rotor life is four
